​Pastor Deontae Collier Sr.,Founder along with his beautiful wife First Lady ShaNeka Collier of the World Impact Ministries COGIC established in September 2021. Pastor Collier is the father of two sons, Deontae Collier Jr. and Kevontae (KK) Collier.
Pastor Collier was born on April 11, 1982 (Easter Sunday morning) to the union of Elder Calvin Collier, and Missionary Kym Collier in Freeport, IL. He has been a lifelong Freeport resident where he is a high school graduate of the class of 2000. After high school, he became involved in selling drugs, gambling, and running the streets. One day Pastor Collier recalls as he was walking around Kmart the Lord showed him a vision that if he didn’t change his life the road would lead to prison, or death.
Pastor Collier felt the call of God strongly on his life, and began to serve at the Mt. Calvary COGIC in Freeport, IL under the leadership of Bishop James E. Washington. Pastor Collier served as an Ordained Deacon, Licensed Minister, Ordained Elder, until his time of his Pastorial Installation.
His educational background consists of a graduate of Highland Community College (Associates of Arts degree, 2019), graduate of Grand Canyon University (Bachelors of Educational Studies, 2021), and graduate again from Grand Canyon University (Master of Special Education, 2023). Pastor Collier is employed by the Freeport School District #145 (Dean of Students), at Freeport High School, and employee of the Freeport Boys & Girls Club of Stephenson County.

Pastor Collier has served in his local churches as Evangelism President (local, and National Church, Chairman of District Presidents 2017-2023), Sunday School teacher, Trustee Board member, and a member of the finance team. He currently serves as the Fifth Illinois Jurisdiction~West Youth Department President under the leadership of Bishop Robert L. Perry Jr.
Pastor Collier's life has been transformed by God, and he is truly a walking miracle after falling dead on December 17, 2020 with complications from his heart. However God has a purpose for his life, and he is still here preaching, reaching, and serving God, his family, his church, and his community. Pastor Collier motto remains: serve with a purpose, on purpose, for God’s purpose.

First Lady ShaNeka Collier is the very happy wife of Pastor Deontae Collier Sr. She is also the proud mother of her two sons Deontae Jr. and Kevontae (KK) Collier. The Lord spoke to First Lady Collier, as Pastor Collier was in surgery for open heart surgery and she heard the word of the Lord loud and clear “it’s time.” After seeking confirmation in prayer,she heard the Lord's voice even louder, and more clearly ,affirming that it was time to step out on faith and launch World Impact Ministries. The Lord even revealed the name of the church to First Lady Collier
After spending the entire summer of 2021 praying, and Pastor Collier recovering from open heart surgery, the two spoke with their parents, their Pastor, and their Bishop, Bishop James E. Washington. Bishop did not hesitate and gave his immediate approval on the launching of World Impact Ministries.
First Lady Collier’s educational background consists of the following: High School graduate of William Sullivan School (Durant, Mississippi) class of 1998. Graduate of Highland Community College (Associates of Arts, 2008), graduate of Columbia College (Bachelors in Psychology, October ,2012), graduate of Walden University (Mental Health Counseling, 2016).
First Lady has also been very active in the various local churches she has served in as the following roles: Armor Bearer to First Lady Minnie Washington, Sunday School teacher, Evangelism, she is a true Missions minded worker, and above all a servant for the Lord.
First Lady Collier sticks by her husband’s side, as everything they do they do together. First Lady Collier is a true visionary, servant, compassionate, selfless woman of God.
First Lady ShaNeka Collier is most certainly someone you need to know.
